Laurie Jo Meyer, of Jenny Lind, passed away at home on November 23, 2012. She was 49.Born in Sacramento on October 22, 1963 to John and Lois Meyer, she had lived in Jenny Lind her entire life and was a homemaker.
Laurie attended Heald college and earned a business degree in banking and she loved playing solfball.
She is survived by her mother Diane Gilliland, son Jacob Butler, brothers John (Denise) Meyer, Michael (Irene) Berg, and Jeff (Nicole) Berg, an aunt Dixie Evans, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at New Hogan Obervation Point in Valley Springs at 2 PM, followed by a potluck reception.
