Mr. Montgomery was born in French Camp. He was a retired maintenance mechanic for Calaveras Cement Company.
He is survived by his wife Lou Montgomery, children Cheryl McComb (Dennis), Carol McConnell (Tim), and David Montgomery; sisters Irene Harrington, Sally Lewis (Jack) and Patsy Bowman; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; also many neices and nephews.
He was preceded in death by Ray Montgomery, Opal Eldridge and Nelli Montgomery.
A funeral service will be held on Friday January 25, 2013 at San Andreas Memorial Chapel. Interment will be private.
