It has been just a month since a Texas school district voted to allow school employees to carry firearms on campus.
Now we hear that a mechanical malfunction following a concealed handgun class has injured one of the schools' workers.
The employee had apparently stayed for one-on-one training after class with the concealed handgun license training instructor on Tuesday.
It was reported by authorities that a mechanical malfunction with his weapon caused his gun to misfire, the bullet ricocheted and stuck the employee in the left leg.
The injury was not life-threatening and he is in fair condition. There was some question as to whether the class was being held on school grounds or not.
