Phyllis J. Brownell-Kahl of Valley Springs, passed away after complications from a subdural hematoma on February 15, 2013. She was 88.
A native of Oakland, she was born on January 27, 1925 to Geraldine Brownell and Paul Dalna. She had worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Mrs Kahl was predeceased by her husband Robert E. Kahl and her son Vernon Larry Van Natta (Terry).
She loved sewing and crocheting and loved her pets and cared for them as she would her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law Dianna Anderson of Copperopolis, grandchildren Larry and Hather VanNatta of Valley Springs, Gina Watson of Copperopolis, and great-grandchildren Seth, Shawn & Rebekah Van Natta of Valley Springs.
There will be a private service for the family in Kingman Arizona where her late husband is buried.
The family wants to thank the Hospice of Amador /Calaveras who helped us through the last weeks of her life to keep her comfortable and helped us understand all the changes.
