UPDATE: As of 5:07 PM CHP says the roadway is open
Traffic will be tied up for awhile at the intersection of Hwy 49 and Hwy 16 in Jackson where there was a multi-vehicle collision at 4 PM.
An ambulance is enroute and traffic is being directed around the accident.
