Activists Unfurl 100 foot Protest Banner at McClintock's office

   Apparently a group of Sierra College students unfurled a giant banner bearing 600 signatures at Congressman McClintocks office
yesterday, February 28, 2013 to protest the sequester
that officially went into effect today.

   Included in the photos are Ptrick Stelmach, California Fair Share Organizer, Ursula Kajani, Hailie Ingman, Brandon Acuna, Sam Koch, Coby Howarth and others.

   Representative McClintocks staff in Granite Bay did meet with the group later in the day, but told the group that McClintock wanted the sequester cuts to go through.

   The group says they demand that Representative McClintock make corporations pay their fair share to avoid education cuts.

   They want him to close corporate tax loopholes, so as to avoid laying off teachers, police and firefighters, according to a press release.
