President Clinton wants bill he signed overturned

   In 1996 Bill Clinton signed into law the Defense of Marriage Act, out of fear of a much worse law against gays being considered.

   Now he is asking the Supreme Court to, in effect, throw that law out, and to allow gay marriage to be recognized nationwide.
