Supervisor Spellman Wants to HUG Castle and Cooke's Haley

Supervisor Spellman never fails to shock and awe the public when he talks, and the public hearing regarding Castle and Cooke's Sawmill
Lake Development was no exception.

This time we got "hugs" and a "no-fault divorce!"

When Chair Callaway gave Spellman the nod to speak about the project, to continue it or to deny it without prejudice, he began by what he said was with "his heart".

Spellman stated that he was inspired by Tom Infusino, who used the term. Spellman said that if he used his heart, he would go and "HUG Mr. Haley."

He went on to commend Haley and Castle and Cooke's development projects.

Spellman also compared denying the project without prejudice to a no-fault divorce. Huh? Aren't you still divorced????

Are you saying flip/flop?
If in his heart, why did he vote against C & C? I forgot, he's on his constituency rave? Yet, he didn't mention them.

Both Spellman and Ponte were hypercritical of the county. Because neither of them watched as Castle and Cooke ran over the county for years....Haley is not a victim. This is the first time iin ten years that the plannign Director knows what they are doing and that is what he has a problem with.
