has anything to say about it, that price is headed up, way up!
Assemblyan Richard Pan (D-Sacramento) is carrying AB31, which gives the legislature, rather than the Agriculture Department of the Feds, the right to set prices for what's called Class 4B milk, that used to make cheese.
The WUD claims that their hungry cows are eating more these days and that feed prices have risen. 43% of the milk produced by California dairies goes into making cheese, and they want to raise prices.
So whether you like cheese pizza or toasted cheese sandwiches, you will most likely be paying a lot more soon. We'll watch this one.
