If we think the fog is bad in the Central Valley, its nothing compared to the heavy fog on Interstate 77 near the Virginia and North Carolina state line yesterday.
According to authorities, beginning around 1 PM, one crash led to another until 3 were dead and 20 were injured with a total of 95 vehicles, some big rigs in the pile-up.
Speed in foggy conditions is considered to be the main cause.
