UPDATE: At 3:12 PM there are two CHP units helping with safety. Road closure signs have been requested from the county roads department. and barricades.
4-26-13: Calaveras Sheriff Office advises us that there is a fire near Burson Rd at Dana Rd.
Fire departments are at the scene. Some road closures in the area. Use extra caution.
A call around 1:35 PM to report a possible structure fire near the area of South Burson Rd and Dana Road.
Multiple residences in the area are being notified of the fire dur to some wildland fire spread from the fire's origin.
There are no mandatory evacuations at this time. Some roads in the area (So Burson Road from Warren Road to Hwy 26 are closed due to smoke and fire personnel working at the scene.
