Pattycake dies at age 40

   Pattycake passed away yesterday at the Bronx Zoo, where she had been suffering from chronic cardiac problems, according to zoo officials.  She was 40.

   The first gorilla to be born in New York City, she was a favorite of children in the area, who grew up watching her.
