Water officials are very concerned. The Sierra snowpack is currently, as of March, only 46% of last March's measurement.
No statewide drought has been called because reservoirs still hold an average amount of water, but the "d" word is filtering into conversations among weather experts.

Somebody send this to CCWD, the chamber and the infrastructure providers. It needs to be adopted into the some day to be completed General Plan and as an amendment to the adopted Housing Element.
