The Great California Water Wars

Believe it or not, the governors proposed "twin tunnels" concept to deliver more of Northern California's water to Southern California raises the war over water to a new level.

The tunnels would be tall enough to comfortably fit an adult giraffe, wide enough for three freeway lanes and have ample room to carry enough water to serve 35,000 homes on a typical day.

And then there is the cost. Pretty hefty, but we, the taxpayers don't mind paying, if it promises our friends in LA more water, do we?
