Dear Editor:
I'm so glad to see that the Sierra Sentinel is just about the only publication who isn't cowering
in fear of the NRA and it's lobby for gun sales.
Did you see that over the weekend, Wayne LaPierre, hero of the "nuts", told the people who had assembled in Houston, "Stand and fight. We are in the midst of a once-in-a-generation fight for everything we care about."
What is obvious is that these people apparently have nothing else to care about! Can the NRA get any more scary?
They've lost me. I'm not renewing my membership. Will not be associated with these totally violence loving kooks, who even try to pass their love of killing on to their young children.
I read your article about "madness" this morning, and I agree completely. This bunch is "mad"!
