Summer begins a week early in Calaveras County. On June 12, 2013 the Calaveras Arts Council begins it annual "Music in the Parks 2013".
From Valley Springs ro Railroad Flat; from Copperopolis to Arnold, the 22nd year of providing free music in the county parks will begin.
The first free concert is in Copperopolis on June 12, 2013 in the Town Square, with Mokelumne Crossing. They sign folk Americana with a foothill twist.
Residents can bring their lawn chairs and blankets, and kick back to enjoy the music.
