MIchael Allery Weist, Jr. (32) of Murphys was arrested on Williams Street Sunday, May 19, 2013, for allegedly being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Short Barrel Shotgun or Rifle, and for Altering a Firearm ID Mark, all felonies.
Weist was booked into Calaveras County Jail by deputies. This is the third firearm offense of the day for the Calaveras Sheriff's office.

I wonder if he signed in, revolving door out or if he's still locked up? Did someone else get released to keep him in? OOOH, but for the new jail with full staffing! Pardon me, I forgot the county's broke. Somebody tell me why the electorate voted for the new jail?
