We agree with the original Senator McConnell

   In 1987 Senator Mitch McConnell criticized the IRS and stated loudly and publicly on video,
that he was against the IRS allowing tax-free status to political organizations.

   The new and much old Senator McConnell stated yesterday on Meet the Press that he was wrong then, when he opposed liberal groups from becoming tax-free.

   He now says that the Tea Party groups, which are very political in nature, should all be allowed tax-free status by the IRS.

   Oh, my, how times and political opinion change when you're having fun!! The Senator was not happy when Gregory played the 1987 video. Is this opprobrium?

   We tend to agree with the "young" Mitch McConnell, the organizations should all pay taxes if they are political.
