Part 5 June 10, 2013: One resident asked about the Proposition 218, that requires them to allow
ratepayers to protest. He felt it was not done legally and quoted properly.
If one more that half of the ratepayers protest "no", there will be no rate increase. He felt they intentionally misled people and are not being fair and honest with the ratepayers.
There are 12, 600 water customers and 600 sewer customers, according to CCWD person.
One person from Fly-In Acres complained that they just signed a $3.2 million agreement to join CCWD and now they are raising the rates again already. And they can't even vote!
