Letter to the Editor.....About Racism and basketball

   Dear Editor:

   I had to write tonight after watching the NBA game. It wasn't the game that stood out in everyones' minds.

   It was the little boy who sang the National Anthem.  I can't remember if ever I heard it sung more poignantly and perfectly.

   This was the 2nd time he sang, since the night before he sang and there were sick tweets by the racist sickos saying things like "How can they let an "illegal alien" sing out national anthem?"

   Sebastian de la Cruz was born in San Antonio and sings like an angel. I heard an announcer on one of the cable channels say the truth, "This sick type of racism and the people who are so mentally ill to practice it, are on their way out in America."

   The new, younger Americans not only get along with all races and nationalities, but welcome the differences, as they should.

    Sebastian is a perfect example  of the future of America. Coaches from both NBA teams came and shook his hand after he sang last night. It was way cool!!!

   Racists should be locked up in a padded cell, in my opinion!!
