Penny Snyder of San Andreas

   Penny Snyder, of San Andreas, passed away on June 1, 2013 at home.  Penny was 69.

    Penny was born July 4, 1943 in Turlock and graduated from Calaveras High School in 1961.

   Penny was active in Girl Scouts, 4-WD Sportsmen of America and San Andreas Community Convenant Church.

   On June 11, 1961 Penny married Ken Snyder at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in San Andreas.

   Penny lived in Calaveras County her entire life.

   Penny is survived by her husband, Ken Snyder of San Andreas; children Jeff Snyder of Santa Rosa, Greg Snyder of San Jose and Tammy Otsmane of San Francisco; sister, Trisha Michel of Garden Valley, Idaho; a half-brother, Bob Scott of Burlington, Washington; and six grandchildren.

   There will be a celebration of life at 11 AM Saturday, June 22, 2013 at San Andreas Community Covenant Church.  After the service, there will be a potluck luncheon with tri-tip prepared by San Andreas Fire Department downstairs in the fellowship hall.
