Has any information come forward on the hiring of enough correctional officers to fully man the new jail within the time frame guidelines of the original contract? Aren't we the taxpayers paying for a 160 bed jail? Will a 160 bed jail be opened, fully staffed and equipped? Isn't the price we pay each year for the jail obligation going up every year? Were the voters, ultimately, the taxpayers sold a bill of goods, that's not coming true. Who should be held responsible? Pay close attention folks, the government is preparing the answer, the taxpayers, of course. Watch for new taxes, fees surcharges, assessments, etc. to be levied. Do you feel government's hand reaching into your pocket to get your wallet? If not, you will.
Some people are afraid to say this publicly, but its time someone qquestioned the Sheriff about why it took two weeks and what waas it, 10,000 man hours to catch a 12 year old in Rancho. Something's not right down there at the Sheriff's Office.
