The City Manager of Sanford called by defense

   "The decision was made to play the 911 tape?"  He said several tapes were decided to be played for the family.

   "Was the tape played more than once?" He said the family requested it. You can tell he does not like the defense attorney.

     We tend to agree; the term slimeball comes to mind, unfortunately.
 
   "Did they record it?" No, he said. We were releasing it to the media and were simply giving the family a chance to hear it first.

   "Martin family attorneys were present?" "Yes," he said.

   "Our intent was it was the decent thing to do." he told the State. He was released without further questions.
