Big Rig Blocking Hwy 49 left turn lane

    UPDATE: At 3:11 PM Caltrans and a large tow truck have been dispatched to the scene. A third CHP unit is enroute.


    UPDATE:  At 3 PM CHP is at the scene to direct traffic around the truck. A second CHP unit is enroute.
August 19, 2013 at 2:56 PM:   A big rig, approximately 40 tons, with two fully loaded trailers is reportedly broken down in the left turn lane of Hwy 49 and Mountain Ranch Rd., blocking the intersection.

   CHP is enroute to the scene. Use extra caution if in that area. Vehicles are attempting to back up. This is a dangerous intersection anyway.
