Brian Williams, NBC news anchor, has gone to the Jersey Shore after knee surgery, for what he believes is the restorative power of the ocean air in the area.
He reminds everyone that President James Garfield asked to be taken to the Jersey Shore in 1881 to recuperate after being wounded in an assassination attempt. Garfield died 13 days later.
Williams says he's hoping for a better outcome.
