According to a CalFire Summary, dry lightning continues to keep firefighters busy, as approximately 150 new lightning-sparked wildfires have ignited in the past couple of days.
Firefighters have been able to contain most of the fires to small spots.
Today, over 7000 firefighters are battling a dozen major wildfires across California, that in total have charred over 100,000 acres.
A Red Flag Warning remains in effect for most of the foothills and mountains of Northern California due to the possibility of dry lightning in combination with gusty winds.
The Warning remains in effect through Thursday evening, though it is likely many of the thunderstorms may bring more rainfall by Wednesday evening.
