UPDATE: At 6:51 PM another call about a traffic hazard was reported at Hwy 88 and Bonnefay drive. We aren't sure if this is related to the dog incident.
CHP is enroute to Hwy 88 and Court Street in Jackson where a dog was hit by a car and ran down into a ravine.
Several other cars stopped to try and help locate the injured dog, causing a traffic hazard.
