UPDATE as of 1:23 PM: The roadway is now clear.
August 14, 2013 at 12:48 PM: It was reported to CHP that a black Honda Civic hit the embankment on the side of Hwy 12 just west of Hwy 49.
CHP is at the scene. No injuries were reported. Use extra caution in that area. A tow truck has been dispatched.
