Dear Sentinel:
I am very concerned that again Supervisor Callaway and her cohorts at the Board of Supervisors in Calaveras County, are brushing the illegal sewer dumpage into Lake "toilet" under the rug, as they have done many times before.
Yes, and I call it Lake "toilet" like many others, in and out of County government and CCWD call it. Why? I don't think you really need to ask.
I read the other letter you received about making the illegal sewer dumping public and I still have not seen you, the Sierra Sentinel, do so. Who are you protecting?
The Calaveras County Water District (CCWD), from what I have been told, allowed all these sewer lines into Lake "toilet" and there is now no way to prove where they are going or if they are just dumping in the middle of the lake.
I also don't see any of these so-called "environmental" groups, such as; MyValleySprings.com or the Calaveras Planning Coalition, CSERC or the Mayhews (who have all harassed landowners endlessly for years), saying ONE WORD!
Why? Most likely because they don't give a ****! They only harass landowners because they are so jealous that they don't own the land (the golf course, for example). They do not care about the pollution of California's and especially Calaveras County waterways.
Don't be cowards, Sierra Sentinel! I, like the other person who wrote to you, count on this one publication to print the truth, no matter who gets in the path, or which political party is guilty.
Please don't disappoint us. I won't let my children near Lake "toilet" until it gets cleaned up.

Don't you know the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors are not responsible for administration of selected issues? Obviously, they don't want to get their hands dirty.
Any floaters out there?
