Raw Sewage Spills into Lake Tulloch?

Apparently rumors are traveling all around Lake Tulloch that someone is leaking raw sewage into the Lake. What is being done? Has there been an investigation?

We have requested information and we will keep you posted on their response. Is it safe to swim in the lake. When will they make it public?

This can't be true! Someone must be making it up. Where is it?

Is the lake full of raw sewage or what? I don't want my kids in it if it is.

Who's responsible for clean up when this happens?

Transient Renters have struck AGAIN! Glad NEXT year they will be regulated to fewer people to a home. I guess craming 25 people into a two bathroom home does cause a strain on our infrastructure. That's part of the CCWD increase. For six months (April through September) a year, these renters put undue strain on our antiquated sewer and water systems. The pump stations, etc weren't built to handle sudden influx of users.

Oh, this is a rental that is putting raw sewage into the lake? What's the address?

the property that is in violation is 7540 O'Byrnes Ferry Road and yes it is true...but the Supervisors and Planning Department exempted this particular house from the Short Term Vacation Rental Ordinance....dirty politics just got shittier!!! oh and how could this possibly be the renters fault...this is the property owners issue!!

I don't believe that. Ponte doesn't play favorites, does she. Did this owner give her anything? What is the deal here?

What is going on. I voted for Ponte because I didn't like the dirty politics of Tryon and Thomas. Now everyone says its the same with Ponte? I want evidence!!

I've been watching the comments. I don't care about the politics. I want to know if it is fixed now. I love this lake and can't stand the possibility of it being polluted.

To watching: You must be some naive little baby. All politics in Calaveras County are a bit dirty. Special favors for special favors, etc. Get real!!

Don't call me a baby. I simply want to believe that our elected officials are doing their best to represent and help all of us. If that is naïve, then so be it.

There's still that awful fish smell coming from the Resort..

Yea. That's the problem at Tulloch. It's NEVER about you gentle renters! The only thing you contribute aside from lining the pockets of needy and/or greedy home owners, Is buying ice, beer, and gas. The rest you bring from home and leave as trash in our waters and on the roadside. Lol! Transient Renters GO HOME! ...But leave your daughters!!!

this is about owners not renters. the guy has illegal sewer and water hook ups. his pipe goes under the lake...but so does a whole bunch of em.
