Statewide computer program failures-millions wasted on programs

White the California  State Senate investigation focused on John Chiang's massive computer program failures (mostly to get even with him for cutting their paychecks two years ago), the investigation
opens wide a problem that is often going ignored.

Even here in Calaveras county, we have department heads demanding more and more, newer and fancier computer programs; toys that they insist will do everything including take out the trash.

This is while the taxpayers continue to pay for some of the Supervisors past computer program purchases. Pretty new programs sound good, but when you are wasting money, you are wasting the taxpayers money.

This is a statewide massive expense, with no end in sight as leaders are sold into more and more expensive programs they believe they cannot live without, but will turn out often to be bringing in the trash instead of taking it out.

Please provide technical information that drives your negative expressions.
The elected lady officials, you are talking about provide information to the public without the gloss. They will be the ones providing the final budget deficit numbers and the deficit numbers into the foreseeable future. Do you want that information or do you want the past boards and current board's gloss overs?
Personally, I want the truth, not that stuff you get on your shoe, going thru the BULL pens, that stinks.
As to trash in or out, the voters got rid of supervisors, look at what we have now. Final budget hearings will tell,if there is a dollar they won't spend. Wait and see.
