A resident on Tom Bell in Murphys called a report to the Calaveras Sheriff that in the Murphys Diggins they had received suspicious phone calls asking for their personal information. DO NOT GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE!!
Someone suspicious cut off and stole the automatic gate opener on Red Hill Road in Angels Camp. No report was taken.
The Sheriff's Office received a report of a woman on E. St. Charles in San Andreas had a laundry basket attached to a cart and some imaginary friends with her. No report was taken.
A report was taken of a suspicious person at Hwy 49 and Red Hill Rd in Angels Camp. Not sure why.
A man trying to sell foreign children's magazines on Oak Ridge and Spyglass Rds in Valley Springs was reported. No report was taken by the Sheriff.
A few miles from Rock Quarry two large bags full of something turned out to be trash and a dead skunk. Ewwww!
No report was taken by the Sheriff in a call about an injured dog crying at Camanche Recreation Co on Wade Ln in Burson.
