Since Ted Cruz was born in Canada to an American mother and a Cuban father,
many have asked whether he should be qualified to run for President in 2016.
He appears to have put the question to rest, stating that he is renouncing his Canadian citizenship and releasing his birth certificate.
He has been a dual citizen of both Canada and the US. He states that he left Calgary when he was 4. Was he covered until that time with government health care in Canada? (the kind that he now says is no good for Americans)
