In 2006, the State of California bought a 24 story building in downtown Sacramento to house the 4000 employees of the Board of Equalization.
Now, 7 years later, they have spent nearly that much again on repairs; everything from mold to windows popping out onto the street below.
Still, the lawmakers have not been able to decide what to do with the building, after a meeting this week, so on the expenses go, headed for another $81 million #3?
