On October 2, 2013 at 6:30 PM the CCOG (Calaveras Council of Governments), the highway transportation organizationmeets in the Calaveras Board of Supervisors Chambers in San Andreas.
The Hwy 4 Wagon Trail Project (road from Copperopolis to Angels Camp) will be discussed and some direction may be given for 2014.

I wonder if the 1982-1985 General Plan lawsuit concerning Copperopolis circulation will be discussed? Why a two lane road is the current road project, rather than the four-lane road discussed 30 + years ago?

Why is the highway 4 road project called the Wagon Trail Project? Is it because it was due when wagons pulled by horses were traveling the route? Awful long time to wait. How wide of lanes were needed for wagons?
