According to authorities, 8 inmates, who were left in a prison van in Oklahoma while the driver took three in to be treated at a hospital, after complaining of being ill, escaped in the van.
The fact that the guard left the engine running and keys in the ignition to keep the air conditioning running, may have been the reason.
Two of the men broke through the security partition and drove off, according to police. All 8 men were captured within 5 hours, one wearing a teddy bear t-shirt.
