Dear Sierra Sentinel:
I've missed you since you went online. I just recently got a computer, so I've been enjoying trying to catch up on politics. I certainly can't get the straight truth from any of the other papers or online sites.
This letter is about our illustrious Calaveras Board of Supervisors. For those who remember, Steve Wilensky, Merita Callaway and Tom Tryon got us into this financial mess.
Whoever the stupid woman was who got up and praised Callaway, she must be a total moron. Callaway has pretended to be fiscally conservative, but lies, lies, lies.
She has been behind every tax and spend measure and every raise for employees ever brought before the Board.
And now this whole Board has made fools of us all, by first not passing a budget with that $7 million deficit, only to later pass it. Those five must think we are all as stupid as that weird woman who spoke.
They are ALL tax and spenders, one and ALL. Nothing will ever change. Once they get into office they sell us out every time.
