I am writing to you because I think I have a similar problem with the Sheriff
corruption that you have had and mentioned on the website.
Is it true that Sheriff Cuntz refuses to arrest people who commit crimes, even with a signed warrant if they are friends of his.
There are rumors going around that he went to school with a couple of people that he now refuses to arrest for crimes in addition to the ones you have mentioned.
Has anyone reported this to the Grand Jury or to the Attorney General. Can it wait til next year when we can throw him out of office?
I don't think it should. Is his entire department corrupt like him, or is it just him? I've had enough and I think the entire county offices need a clean-up.
Do you have advice for what I should do next? How did we get such a corrupt man in the position of Sheriff? He totally screwed up the Fowler case; he can't even catch our own criminals. Another county has to catch them for him.
Please print my letter. Something has to be done about this Sheriff as soon as possible. I hear he splits his time between campaigning and eating to making his new office as fancy as possible.
Will there even be a sofa for his naps? Thank you, Sentinel, for exposing our county for what it is. You are the first newspaper EVER to do that. The public deserves the truth.

This is really pathetic. Cuntz? Our Sheriff's last name would be Kuntz. Goes to show what white trailer trash we have here in Calveras County!
Like I've said before, one term only. then we're not stuck with a big retirement check by us taxpayers.
It doesn't matter how you spell it, he's not doing his job. He never caught the thief that stole from our house. never even tried.and we knew who it was.
This Sheriff hasn't done anything but eat for the last 3 years. Just look at him.

Whatever the Sheriff's name is, he never even sent anyone to our trespassing report.
I don't know the Sheriff, but like all politicians, he wants a second term and will probably try and clean up his act now. Is it too late, though?
