In one of the most ignorant budget discussions we have heard amongst the members
of the 2013 Calaveras Board of Supervisors, they wondered openly how to raise the revenue they don't have in order to spend, spend, spend like they always do.
Not one of them mentioned that the reason the county did so well before they passed 07-242 and killed this county's economy for the next 20 years, was building beautiful new homes.
No, they wouldn't dare mention it even if they could think that intelligently. It could cost them votes in their next election.
And they believe that killing the citizens with taxes and higher fees are really a good thing. I think they better think again about their next election.
These 5 people love their non-working full-time pay jobs and will do anything to keep sitting in the goofy chairs, except the smart thing, the thing that would cut down on crime and welfare, creating good jobs!!

WHY DOES THAT SURPRISE YOU. The CAO made a tax statement after appointment.
They can't stop spending. They make too much money. And they don't work. Why wouldn't they raise your taxes?
What reason would any of you have to think they would do anything else. Earning the money is not an option to them.
