September 3 is unofficially skyscraper day. You know, the day we honor the gigantic tall buildings put up as if be magic to hang in the air.
Actually, the meaning of skyscraper is simply a tall building and it doesn't have a minimum number of stories, just how tall it is, relative to buildings around it.
That means that when Supervisor Callaway and her friends put up the new tenements required by the General Plan, if they build them two or three stories, they can be called skyscrapers in Calaveras County.
