Employees for the Bay Area Rapid Transit System went on strike late last night, forcing the 400,000 people a day who ride it into the Bay Area, to seek alternate transportation.
What if Calaveras Transit went on strike? OMG! 1 or 2 people might have to hitch hike or call their grandmother for a ride.
We remember the time when BART gave free rides and other incentives to try and get people to ride it to work. Now everyone rides it into the city. Hope they settle the strike soon.
