On October 29, 2013 the Calaveras Supervisors will hold a special night meeting. This meeting
begins at 6 PM with recognitions, what we call Supervisors campaign time.
If you pay attention, you are aware that in the last part of the meetings, what they call Correspondence and reports of the Board is yet another chance for campaigning.
Most of the things they recite doing are NOT board appointed duties, but campaign opportunities for their next election.
It was stated by the Calaveras Board Clerk that the Board of Supervisors will not receive any of the agendas or packets before they are released to the public and that they are attempting to be more transparent than they are now.
We will believe it when we see it. For the public's information the Board Clerk says she does not intend to release any agenda information until the Fridays before the meetings, to anyone.
In case you can count, that is barely the Brown Act requirement of public notification; and not an attempt to be more open with the voters. Not surprising in Calaveras!

Was that the meeting where Callaway said the other board members didn't know the elbow from something?
Is Callaway's "QUEENSHIP" being threatened?
Time for her, the self stated, "POLITICIAN" to hit the trail with her compadre, Teflon Tom, Tryonville, illegal outdoor shooting range, Tryon.
