Senator Ted Cruz had his moment, er, 24 hours in the spotlight when he spoke uninterrupted on the Senate floor a couple of weeks ago.
Not today, however. Even at the extreme right wing tea party gathering in Washington DC where he spoke today, he was heckled.
Lights remained off as security tried to run around and snatch the hecklers in the audience and drag them outside.
The heckling continued, however. He even tried to say that the President had paid these people to come to their right wing conference and heckle him. Most of the hecklers appeared to be women.
