Many organizations in every part of the US face the overwhelming numbers of abandoned cats and kittens existing however they can.
No one knows why, but sadly, some people just move and leave their cat to fend for themselves.
Disneyland has embraced their population of over 200. In fact, they have feeding stations at various places, get the adults neutered and spayed and find homes for the kittens.
In return, the cats eliminate the need to put out poison for rats and mice at the park. It's a win-win!
