CalFire reports that on November 1, 2013 at around 3:30 PM units were dispatched to the 8700 block of Oak Ridge Drive in Mountain Ranch after a report of a grass fire.Several units responded, including from Murphys and Valley Springs. Fire was caused by an unattended ash pile in the back yard. Approximately 7 acres of vegetation was burned.
