Tom Berryhill is the Assemblyman for the 14th District of California, which includes Calaveras and Tuolumne counties. And he is hardly EVER seen in Calaveras County.
It became well-known that Mr. Berryhill was not happy that he was redistricted into representing a long narrow part of Tuolumne County.
When he started getting complaints about his attitude, it was reported that he bought a cabin in Twain Harte.
Everyone says he is hardly ever there, but it makes him look like he cares about our rural areas. The fact is, that he is a right-wing, tea party conservative, not a fiscal conservative, and like McClintock a majority of people think he needs to go.
Who has been picked to "primary" him in 2014, we have not yet been told, but it is sure to come out soon. The "top two" system now in California changes everything.
A moderate Republican that cares about business can most likely rid this area of a Berryhill who doesn't even like us.

When did I see Bigelow in Calaveras, last? NEVER! Doesn't Bigelow want to do away with Prop. 13?
I did see Bigelow here recently, but I think he was just here to see Diane Gray.
Has Bigelow ever attended a public forum, to express his concerns, in this county?
