The New York Times reported that the median rent in San Francisco is now $3250 a month for a 2 bedroom, the highest in the nation.
Of course, the longtime locals, who often work part time and can't afford that kind of rent, are feeling pushed out into Oakland or other areas.
They blame the "techies" as they call them; the Googles and the Facebook crowd, who now work and want to live in the CITY.
Looks like a battle royal, with the losing end the lower income people, who will have to leave the city they love. The good part is that it will raise the sales taxes and property values there.
