November 22, 2013: We received a reply to our question about whether Supervisor Darren Spellman is running against Steve Kearney in 2014 for Supervisor of District 5, Rancho Calaveras.
He states "I am blessed to have continued support for my efforts towards making our local government more efficient, cost effective, responsive and transparent while increasing the expectation of ethical leadership for all governmental entities."
He also states that "we have already put a campaign for 2014 into place in October by opening a new campaign account, assigning a new treasurer, etc."

Now all that's needed is one or more additional willing to campaign people, so it can go to the general election in November, 2014.
Will we see rough & tumble campaigning and honest forum management?
