Tom McClintock (R) Elk Grove, spent $6779 at the gift shop in 2011 and staffers spent $3750 on gifts for supporters in 2012, according to Roll Call. He isn't using his own money, however. This is donor campaign money; therefore you are buying your own gift if you donated enough.

This shows we had McClintock all wrong. He does care about Christmas. He will not extend unemployment benifits and is one of only a few who will not sign letter to help bring good jobs to California, but he will buy christmas gifts with campaign funds. He has the true meaning of christmas down.
I'm surprised to see this comment. I thought everyone was happy that he wants to bring logging jobs. No?
