In the middle of the agenda, Calaveras Supervisor Callaway stopped everything to allow Billie McArthur, one of her subjects, to make a public comment.
No one is ever allowed to break into a meeting and make a Public Comment like this.
This sets a precedent in our opinion, that if someone calls the Board and tells them they will be late, that they can just walk in a make their 5 minute spiel.
Ms. McArthurs comments were very interesting, since she is complaining about the county wanting to pump her well for 24 hours to test it. Such a stupid county we have. After McArthur left the podium, Callaway explained that she allowed her to speak because she couldn't get there on time.

You know, everyone has noticed that since she started that church, she has changed for the worse, and what do we do about it?
Ms. McArthurs concerns were greater than a 24 hour pump test. There was some discussion about $900.00 and a water storage tank. I don't think she got the $900.00 back. Did she pay the water tender fee of $900.00 and then went ahead, bought a water storage tank of 3,000 gallons capacity without knowledge of a larger quantity required?
Will we ever know what the problem was and if it was corrected?
Did Callaway go to the CAO or directly to the department head on behalf of her constituent? That's a question needing an answer.
RECALL Callaway!
Oh sure recall her; but who will take her place? Remember that weird guy who didn't get along with women from last time?
